hey guys,
just got off the phone with our neurosurgeon, and Reese WILL BE going into surgery tomorrow morning (Wed). The fluid on her brain is not being absorbed, and the doc wants to scope it to see what the next step would be.
2 possibilities:
1. Shunt - permanent tubing that would drain the fluid to belly.
2. ventriculostomy - drain the ventricle without any permanent object.
PLEASE PRAY FOR.....
1. WISDOM FOR THE DOCS
2. NO INFECTION!
3. QUICK RECOVERY
4. PERFECT PROCEDURE, NO COMPLICATIONS!
5. GOD WILL BE GLORIFIED IN A PROFOUND WAY!
Ker and I have a total peace about this whole thing. We both know that the Lord is going to do what He wants to do, BECAUSE HE LOVES US, AND ADORES REESE!
WE PRAY FOR A GREAT DAY TOMORROW!
We go in around 5am, surgery at 7am.
GOD IS GOOD!
