God's Alive

Doing better!  We adjusted her feeds so that she is only getting fluids--no solids.  I really would rather have her eating food and not formula, but it is more important that she not vomit, of course.  So far she is doing better and her seizures are SO much better!!  I think the Depakote is finally out of her system and she has stabilized from the wean.  Yea!!!  Only problem is...we are feeding her on a drip over night and the formula, which is thick, keeps clogging the pump and the alarm goes off ever half hour!!!  This is not going to work.  At 3 AM, losing my mind, I finally dumped a cup full of water into the bag to thin it out and it went without an alarm for the rest of the night.  Hmmmm....

We just got back from our last vacation of the summer.  It has gone way too fast!!!  On Monday afternoon, we surprised the girls with a trip to Knott's Berry Farm in LA.  It was so much fun!  We picked them up from a friends' house with the car packed and ready to go.  We drove from there to California.:)  We stayed in the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but it was cheap!!!  Mario's mom and dad met us there to help with Reese.  How sweet is that?  Wonderful memories and Reese did great.  Praise the Lord for that!!!  Summer is ending quickly--school starts in less than 3 weeks.  Olivia will be in all day Kindergarten.  I am so sad!!  It is so hard to watch them grow up so fast.
