ker and i praise God for you and your compassion towards our family!
well, had a very interesting day.....Reese couldn't eat from 6am to 4pm because of the MRI. she was put under at 4pm, and got done around 5pm. ker and i waited, and waited, and waiteed for the results of the MRI, results that would show how the brain looked after the surgery.
we had 3 weird episodes with little Reese between 8-10pm. her left eye would start to twitch, and she would get very tense with her heart rate going over 200 bpm. this really scared us, and the nurses didn't know what it was either.
i was about to leave, ker wanted to stay, and we got a phone call from dr. moss with the results of the MRI. needless to say, i was pretty nervous...dr. moss began to tell me that the MRI was "absolutely PERFECT!" it couldn't have gone any better!
PRAISE GOD!
he exaplined that the cyst has shrunken considerably, and the brain was totally uninjured! i then explained to him about the episodes we had tonight with the weird eye twitch, and heart rate. he told me that it's pretty normal because the cyst has compresssed the brain and the nervees on the brain for so long, when he released the pressure, the nerves constricted. he said she might have some seizures for a little while, but doesn't mean for a lifetime, till the brain and nerves adapt. he wasn't concerned at all!
we PRAISE God that we got AWESOME NEWS TODAY. GOD IS SO FLIPPIN AWESOME! THANK YOU JESUS FOR YOUR GRACE AND PEACE!
ker and i are blessed to know you, please continue to pray, Reese probably won't be coming home now until thursday. BUMMER, but all good!
